Alejandro has 25 years of experience in the financial sector. Out of these, 11 years were at Citi having positions in Operational Risk and Capital Models in New York, Ontario Canada, and Mexico. He worked directing functions of Control, Risks, Models and project implementation.

He has been instrumental in the implementation of different projects in areas such as credit risk, operational risk, regulatory capital, internal control, fraud prevention, operational re-enginieering, digital implementations, user experience, data science applications, and business intelligence.

He has been an independent director and consultant for financial and technology companies, combining technical sophistication with great pragmatism and a sense of the operational reality of business.

Alejandro holds a PhD in Quantitative Methods from the HEC Montreal Business School, has a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from ITAM.
